Choose CELPIP if…
- You are only applying to Canada.
- You are comfortable typing.
- You feel nervous speaking face to face with an examiner.
- You are used to Canadian accents and everyday situations.
Choose IELTS if…
- You may also apply to other countries.
- You prefer to speak with a real person.
- You already have IELTS practice or a previous score.
The speaking section is where most people lose points
In both tests, the speaking section is often the hardest to improve alone. You need someone to listen, time you, and tell you exactly what to change. One-to-one practice with a tutor is the fastest way to raise your score.
